Beyond that, many attempts at large-scale communism led to atrocity because the government decided that they needed to rapidly industrialize or else they would fail miserably at becoming a world power. Turns out forcing rapid industrialization doesn't work (See: The Great Leap Forward). Capitalism is useful for getting industrialization taken care of, at least. |

if by industrialization you mean forcing people to work for below minimum wage maybe you should rephrase that communism slows down industrialization if anything you loving loon because everyone either has to save up for 40 years to start manufacturing one product or buy stuff the government sells |
