communism slows down industrialization if anything you loving loon because everyone either has to save up for 40 years to start manufacturing one product or buy stuff the government sells

did manage to industrialize Russia and become the most powerful nation in the world in the shortest amount of time ever. Not that it matters, considering most countries have already industrialized by now.
