why can't i upload a profile picture. I check the "I will upload my own photo" and then i choose a photo, then I apply the changes. Nothing. I tried it even with the "I will upload my own photo." nothing. Ive given up after years Im a blank ass slate

The avatar uploader is broke, so it doesn't always accept images, sometimes you gotta resize them manually, save them as a different file type and/or change the quality to alter it's file size, etc

helpful tips:
-make sure the picture is 75x75, the max size for pfps
-stay under either 20 or 4 kbs (we dob't know for sure)
-gifs are finnicky, so try exporting multiple times to see what's going on and see what works
