An art degree is useless. A degree in graphic design is a different thing and much more useful. More so when paired with a minor in computer sciences or business.

Seeing as I'm becoming a Sophomore in less than 24 hours, I'd like to know what I can do to get the job I want at some point. I'd like to work at AMD, whether it be the Radeon division or CPU division, I wouldn't mind. I'm already taking quite a few computer science classes and obviously will take the ones I want when I get the chance, but I'd like to know what else I can do to get that job someday hopefully.

Continue taking computer science courses. Learn a few languages. Get an internship there. The unpaid kind is the easiest way in but it sucks so be ready to bust ass.

Also have a couple IT jobs before applying even if it's just a call center.
