I really sucked at mental maths before but basically it's just practise and looking up the answers. I remember from practise alone I kind of just memorised some standard fractions that I commonly came across. but I wouldn't call myself fast lol, I just practised and got faster than I was

I don't think you're stuck with the method but if you want quick answer checking I always used to use these sites, they solidified things
