I don't see what's inherently wrong with a corporation having a left bias, cause I don't really buy the notion that diversity of political opinions really has anything to do with good software solutions

Why do only the most handicapped liberals show up to these forums and make noise?
Those were not personal attacks. They were not mass pming him hate speech or anything. Nor were they private investigating him, cracking passwords or anything of the like.
It's just meming and arguments. The ones he was primarily responding to was people straight up calling him handicapped and getting mad at him for posting random ass pictures in response to arguments.
You obviously have no idea what a personal attack it because i've been through them. Multiple times. This is babywork compared to what has happened to people on this forum before.

when said corporation has an extremely strong grip on the internet it starts to be a problem

If I made it sound like he only does this in the Politics thread in order to avoid further debate, then I apologize because that wasn't my intention.
Kimon does this quite frequently elsewhere as well. It isn't just contained to the Politics thread. That being said, obscure meme-y stuffposts are probably the weakest criticism one can make of Kimon.

i think the confusion here is because your definition of "personal attack" is a lot more intense than how it's actually been used. the way it's been used is "an attack on your person," not as a thorough attempt to extensively harass and bully you
