Google fires James Damore for memo on echochamber

This is about avoiding bad PR as putting thought points out like this is extremely polarizing. Google as a company, and any company for that matter, will always pick their battles with this kind of thing.
In this case, it's easier to let somebody go than to play defense against a vocal majority.
