I'm racking my brain trying to figure out why the forget people like Rooster Teeth, more specifically RWBY

I mean, look at this
you look up RWBY on YouTube and you'll find this "fight" from "Chapter 8: Players and Pieces" (what were they thinking when they wrote that episode title), with the tag "BEST FIGHT EVER!!"

what is this? what is going on? why is the voice acting so terrible? more importantly, why does it look like they just took the first 3D model they drew and rigged it to do all this stuff? I don't get it, can someone who likes the show seriously explain this to me (while you're at it explain why any time I've seen a Rooster Teeth sketch it wasn't funny at all)

the only thing I've seen from this show that I liked are the scythe girl's design and the redhead's design, but that's probably just because I like redheads

I mean this is seriously some bottom-tier stuff
