i didn't miss any points. acknowledging the good things someone did is fine, i understand that robert e lee did make some changes that helped people. that's why he's being moved to a museum, to acknowledge his importance in the grand scheme.
acknowledging his importance is not the same as glorifying him, which is what the statue did in the first place. it commemorates him as a person, despite the fact that he was a stuffty person.

You may not feel threatened by white supremacist political action, but that doesn't mean no one does.

then why the forget is he responding to me besides to either dispute it in a very vague way or add on to it in a very misunderstood way? if he was agreeing with me i wouldn't have had to reiterate it
