It was an illegal act of vandalism and violence and yet its praised by our country as a patriotic act made by our founding fathers. why then, is it not okay to destroy a statue that was created in the 60s in order to intimidate African americans who were trying to fight for their rights during the civil rights movement, but destroying millions of dollars of british tea is perfectly fine and patriotic? where is the line? |
