Do you support the removal of Confederate monuments?

mod-man:

i support the idea of moving them to more appropriate places, like battlefield memorials or museums should the town not want that kind of glorification anymore

i dont support the idea of illegally destroying public property

Deus Ex:

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeh I mean, no, but, I guess like everyone else said, if it's being moved to a memorial then fine I guess? But it just seems kind of pointless all around to me.

p much my stance here as well

Mr Queeba:

moving the statue to a museum or something > destroying it

McZealot:

no lol. nothing over 100 years should be removed with the exception of rebel flags. it's extremely disrespectful and honestly traitorous to fly the flag of the group that killed more US soldiers than any other in history

we cant hold people from the 1800s to the standards of modern morality. it's ridiculous. but to endorse that sort of logic today is even worse.
