Author Topic: should silenced/suppressed guns be legal  (Read 4291 times)

the most practical buttplug in the world

a gun can be incredibly quiet given the proper ammunition and a well maintained suppressor. lots of people around here have never fired a gun before.

sub-sonic ammo and a well maintained rifle and suppressor. its a literal pew.

OT: they should be regulator so no run of the mill handicap can go buy a suppressor.

Don't see why you shouldn't be able to buy a suppressor for your deadly weapon if you already own the deadly weapon.

It'd be nice to own one because it increases the practicality of being able to shoot it on your own property without having to buy a patch of grass way out in the boondocks for 6 gorillion bucks so your blue pilled neighbors don't stuff themselves when they hear you cold-heatedly murdering paper targets with assault WMDs

sub-sonic ammo

I'm glad someone mentioned this lol

Should trucks with really quiet mufflers be legal?

cars with little to no mufflers should be illegal. stuff's loud af yo.

I guess I don't see why not. Anyone dumb enough to legally buy one and use one for a crime is going to be in a registry.

it is, in my state anyway

this works if you really care about it but this stuff is super expensive in comparison to standard bullets, along with the fact that you can't really find them out in your local walmart

handload with heavy projectile + less powder = diy subsonic ammo for cheap

although it's still not exactly a "pew"-- you can't quite get rid of the noise of a high-pressure explosion and metal being thrown back into more metal (implying the gun doesn't have a manual action)

Its not like videogames where it produces a tiny "Pew!" its actually still loud as all forget

In my country there are a bunch of idiots who remove the muffler from their motorcycles, it's loving loud, it's stupid, sounds like stuff and it annoys everybody.

subsonic 22lr... you're basically firing a juiced up bb gun at that point

I've heard a subsonic .223, a subsonic .40. They're quiet as forget. You don't need hearing protection. as for pricing there's little variance.

again, suppressors and subsonic ammo. you're watching youtube videos of people firing normal bullets through suppressors, which is yes, loud as forget.
