should silenced/suppressed guns be legal

Nonnel:

I guess I don't see why not. Anyone dumb enough to legally buy one and use one for a crime is going to be in a registry.

it is, in my state anyway

this works if you really care about it but this stuff is super expensive in comparison to standard bullets, along with the fact that you can't really find them out in your local walmart

Zloff:

handload with heavy projectile + less powder = diy subsonic ammo for cheap

although it's still not exactly a "pew"-- you can't quite get rid of the noise of a high-pressure explosion and metal being thrown back into more metal (implying the gun doesn't have a manual action)

Mr Unicode:

sub-sonic ammo and a well maintained rifle and suppressor. its a literal pew.

OT: they should be regulator so no run of the mill handicap can go buy a suppressor.

Its not like videogames where it produces a tiny "Pew!" its actually still loud as all forget

In my country there are a bunch of idiots who remove the muffler from their motorcycles, it's loving loud, it's stupid, sounds like stuff and it annoys everybody.
