I mean I'd think an AC unit would use less power than eight fans on high |

AC units use a compressor, which takes a fair amount of power small window AC unit consumes 115V looking up fans, if you can fit 8 in your room (just how big is your dorm room lol), then they are probably small desk fans, and looking up desk fans shows that they can be powered by USB, and USBs are 5V pretty sure the compressor in the AC just eats power, since it's actually doing something instead of just blowing air around pumping fluid and pressurizing it is a bit more difficult |

two of them are large box fans and the others are pretty large as well there are only two "desk fans", the rest are jet engines |
