I'm having serious problems with my dorm room (things get complicated)

In order to get an AC, I would need to have a medical form signed by a doctor saying that is a medical necessity that I have an AC unit in the room. That's only for things like "if it gets too hot I'll faint even if I'm drinking a lot of water" or severe allergies or something like that, which are both things I don't experience. It also wouldn't fix the commute to classes and I'd still be working by desk light past midnight with two sleeping roommates who are probably getting annoyed with me at this point that I'm not in bed when they are.

there's a good chance that a doctors note is a lot more lenient than that
so far it sounds like you're not able to function well in the heat, that may be enough
