Might be going to America during summer, what state should i go to?

I would suggest Michigan, my own state. There are lots of beautiful places in the UP, and Grand Rapids (the second largest city in the state) has a lot of nice places to visit as well. Frederick Meijer Gardens is also a place you should check out, they have a very large butterfly enclosure.

virginia is a historical field day and DC is just nice to go to in general
