the process is pretty simple, just shift when your rpms start to redline don't actually do this, you'll wear your motor out faster

Idk if this is universal for all standard cars, but my dad taught me this
when in complete stop, and 1st gear
you can release the clutch halfway through, without hitting gas, and the car will move as if it was automatic
he told me its not really about slowly stepping down the gas and releasing the clutch at the same time
but to release the clutch until youre halfway or until the car moves

this is actually precisely how automatics transfer work to the driveshaft from the engine

Without it, I would have never learned correctly how to drive stick
