i think it's him talking about how at this point all half life 2 episode 3 can be summed up to is 'fanfiction' since it's pretty much gone, especially since he ends it off with calling it "a dream I had many years ago."

Depends on how you interpret the tweet.
To me, it sounds like he's poetically saying "I've taken everything down to protect myself, I hope you're all satisfied with something that will no longer exist."
