need some advice for writing resume

so i haven't previously written a resume and i sort of believe that's why i never get any interviews.

i pretty much have no clue how to start other than to put my personal information down. some people say to write an objective, some say don't so idk.

i have no previous job experience so an empty resume isn't going to look good. the most "job-like" things i do is help my family around with vehicles, yards, carpeting, etc. that might prove responsibility at least but i'm not so sure about that.

what would you recommend how i write my resume?

whatever you do don't be modest

OP are you in college? some colleges have a place where you can have a career advisor look over your resume (or help you make one) and give you pointers and stuff
