Have you ever used Blockland for a school project?

I've heard that a few people did years ago, but I'm curious how many

I've thought of using it for a school project about ww2 4 years ago but instead my team wanted to use real footage of the war and pictures for examples, so I never really had the chance on my school years.

Do you still have it?

I made a pretty kickass house for an architecture project, scored high too

I thought about it but when people started teasing me about playing blockland i never did it.

Actually yes, we had to do a thing called a Beowulf boast where you pretend you're a warrior taking about how badass you are. I said forget it and made a video about a troll invading a castle and telling the king how much of a badass he is. The king pulls out a gun and shoots him.

Blockland is good for video projects if you utilize decals and emotes properly. Also you need to be good at video editing.

a few times

I made a city generator for a game AI class and that was pretty fun

edit:

(rip, forgot to mute mic while recording the mp4 for class, and forgot to strip the audio with ffmpeg)

oh stuff cool this might actually be useful for me

I made a short film on the tale of Beowulf
It's good, but kinda rushed... I forgot to add player talking animations, so it's hard to tell who's talking.

https://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=307141.0 was for a web design project, we had to do some bullstuff with javascript

i remember someone wanted to make an earthquake simulation and have every student connected to the simulation server via LAN.

Yes, I used it for a large arts project in my arts class in 8th grade. Got an A+, even had posters of my ships displayed in the halls of the school.
