it always scared the forget out of me when I was the only one up in the morning and I walked around the house too scared to go into the crawlspace (where we kept all the toys in the house) because there might be monsters or burglars in there

blood in video games absolutely terrified me
I had that same fear, but add in zombies, so i was terrified of violent, gory games like Tenchu and zombie games Resident Evil

Wasn't until Halo 2 and Resident Evil 4 that i started getting over those

When I was really young I used to be afraid of sculptures and paintings of people. Then one day, we went to a museum with replicas of Greco-Roman sculptures. I ran out crying.

I'm irrationally afraid of home invasion. I have CCTV set up around my house that I can keep an eye on using a separate monitor, because I used to constantly get up and check every room in the house with a flashlight whenever I heard a strange noise. Now I can do it all from my desk using night vision cameras.

anything that made sudden loud sounds
this isnt a fear or phobia

Oh yeah, i also used to be afraid of thunder, not so much the lightning, the thing that could actually be dangerous, nope, just the thunder

And the dark, i hated small dark places

But it didn't take me that long to get over those fears, and now i actually like looking outside when there's a storm, it's almost relaxing in a way

as a kid i was scared of very large open rooms, like gyms

I used to be deathly afraid of any body of water after a bad experience at a lake in my younger years. I've been slowly working over the fear to swim.

i watched thomas and friends when i was little and there was an episode dedicated to this loving thing

i hated it
and there was music that played when it appeared and it was terrifying

when I was like 6 and I got pokemon fire red I was scared stuffless of snorlax and weepinbell
there was a sticker of weepinbell in my sticker book and I was so loving scared of it I had my mom take it off and stow it somewhere
and when I got to the part where you had to use the flute on the snorlax or whatever i made my mom do it and it took her like a day

right now i'm acrophobic and if you put me anywhere near a roosterroach i die

The dark (duh.) the only reason it's strange is b/c of how I got it and also that I still have it
I have a fear of looking directly up in large places (i.e. malls) due to myself thinking either the floor or roof will give way.

really deep or bottomless pits for some reason
also the ocean

right now i'm acrophobic and if you put me anywhere near a roosterroach i die
