the exact same thing could be said for neo-national socialists. none of these groups will hold any power because most people find them disgusting. so that leaves us with what they do. they do the same exact things, except one is far right and one is far left

Did we already forget about the 1 person dead and 19 people injured in Charlottesville

Fascism has some power in America, whether it be upfront or in-disguise. The president of a Philly police union referred to black activists as rabid animals and yet gives the a-OK on an officer having a national socialist tattoo.
Badspot:

--- Quote from: LeisureSuit912 on September 03, 2017, 12:09:18 AM ---That wasn't my argument. Saying capitalism kills 20 million people per year is probably frivolous, but so is the estimate of 100 million people across all time killed by communism. Both are statistics made by extremely careless historians.

The most conservative estimates possible are going to be in the 20+ million range without even going into wars or estimating DPRK famines/purges, or counting the exploits national socialist german workers party.

--- Quote from: LeisureSuit912 on September 03, 2017, 12:09:18 AM ---And again, the true answers lie in the ideologies of these two groups.  Anti-fascism is fighting against genocide and tyranny; fascism is fighting for those things. And holding open rallies for fascism is essentially declaring violence. That people would try and equate these two groups as equally bad or making the former worse is ignorant.

--- End quote ---

You're defining the world as either with you or against you, then you're defining everyone against you as the sole perpetrators of violence.  This is the most dishonest stuff I've ever seen.

The world is not divided into fascists and communists.  They're two sides of the same coin and most people are against both.

i mean blm is basically a pack of wild animals so i don't see a problem with that but if you're seriously suggesting we might have complete fascist control at some point you're completely insane
