I broke my little break thing for this post sorry. I just wanted to know your guy's opinion on this. I worked upfront at the register at a chinese buffet in the mall until somewhat recently. I quit because I found the work really mentally draining standing in a stationary place for 6 hours. I could barely understand my coworkers as all of their english was pretty bad. I'd wake up depressed because I never had any freetime to do anything. But when I looked at my boss working beside me, the immigrants working in the back, and the girl cleaning the floors, they all seemed completely fine with the endless hours of working away. I just wonder am I spoiled? was it really that bad for my health? if others can service and do their jobs for hours why can't I just be as tolerating as them? ok imma logout now and resume my break thing. just had to pour some thoughts. |
