lol on the subject of buying games for people some dude on here posted a thread about how he was turning 18 like a year ago (idr who) so I sent him a cheap game on his wish-list as a gift (I had like $10 on my steam wallet and couldn't afford anything I wanted). then I messaged him and was like "happy birthday dude" and and he started acting like it was really creepy for a dude he didn't know to buy him a game and de-friended me. anyway that dude was an starfish lol
but on the positive side a lot of users have done good stuff for me.
pecon has made me a lot of free script stuff and helped me out with a lot of torque problems. also unbanned me from his server like 30 times.
ipquarx has helped me out with technical difficulties and stuff.
carbon zypher (darksaber on blf) has made a ton of little mods for me for BL when I needed something for a server.
zeblote has made me stuff for free before and also helped me with torque a ton.
conan helped me a ton with torque and has made mods for me before. he's also helped me a bunch with personal builds and stuff before.
cadlage (lurker mostly) has helped me a bunch with builds and stuff ingame.
aqua (or aquadoodle or w/e) has been really chill and talked to me a lot on steam.
ikethegeneric has helped me out with basic stuff and talked with me a lot on steam. also great D&D player.
redo / redoctober2008 has helped me a ton with builds over the years.
element / fruitbread has made a bunch of little things ingame for me and helped me with torque before.
seventhsandwich has always made great posts that have informed me and changed my opinion on a lot of topics.
mega-bear has made some of my favorite bl builds ever and inspired me a ton. same with brickitect
gr8dayseth has always made really nice and positive posts. I don't think I've ever seen him be a richard
nonnel has always seemed really skeptical but still funny and nice as a dude. I wish he'd go back to the suits avatar tho. forget that 'autism' avatar handicap
drydess always seemed really chill on the forums and never came off as a richard ever.
mcjob is really loving irritating when he's wrong but he usually isn't and is really funny (and eloquent) all of the time
greek2me has probably done more tech support than anyone (including the admins) on this forum.
planr always seemed to stick to his beliefs and never altered his religion to suite something he personally wanted. he also seemed like a really nice guy all of the time and has very good taste in media. I sympathize a lot because I also hold some really unpopular beliefs and argue about them a lot
decepticon lives in the greatest state in the US and also seems like a really great guy all of the time.
orange always seems like a really good guy and is very positive. never seen him get heated in an argument or be a richard to anyone.
legodude always seems really nice and is pretty funny as a person.
phantOS is willing to keep arguing for what he thinks is true even when everyone around him is telling him he's wrong (he usually is).
tony can be pretty funny when he's self aware. he also has a unique building style ingame.
sir dooble always made educated and informed posts that rarely got heated or delved into insults
jairo keeps me informed (often before I see the story on other sites) with current news and events and also helps start debate on those topics.
electrk always seemed like a pretty funny and chill guy but isn't afraid to get in a heated argument if he think he's right.
verticalhorizon has been extremely brave and open about her transition and has helped to inspire a lot of people on the blf.
never knew kobewarrior well but he always seemed like a nice and friendly dude.
dreams_of_cheese is a really nice dude and easy to talk to and get along with. also he dreams of cheese.
tristianluigi / tristanbomb always seemed like a friendly guy who was pretty talented with code.
dragonoidslayer got me back into doing halloweenfests after I had dropped it. good group organizer.
beachbum acts like a total prick on the forum but I've talked with him on steam before (mostly about mutual games) and he's really nice and informative when we talk about common interests rather than differentiating opinions.
insert name here is pretty annoying when I argue with him on the forum but when we talk about events local to our shared city he always seems talkative and kind.
red spy is pretty irritating and insipid but when we share an opinion he'll actually commend me rather than alter his own opinions like some will.
verification is also annoying but is willing to admit when he's wrong about something and doesn't seem want people to take thing he says personally.

also I had a seriously bad thing happen two years ago and the only thing that stopped me from completely breaking down was talking obsessively with pecon7 and frontrox and some other users about it.
I really wish we could get a 'NEWS AND POLITICS' board to keep debate threads out of off-topic. I like to argue but sometimes I just want to chill.
