if that were the case, then he could've just said that it was a joke when he was asked to elaborate. writing vague "there's nothing to elaborate" trash posts is a bad look. you don't try to avoid explaining yourself unless you're trying to be difficult, which is something he did on the forums all the time when he was still active.

i can see that being odd, but not really a bad look in my view. the guys could have just asked what he's doing or a "what?" instead of asking for clarificatio like xeidious is at an interrogation. if i don't know what someone's pulling off or doing by just making weird emotes or something and i might go off the wrong track i just personally ask them "what are you doing" or whatever.
the wording of the mod's questioning was off is what i'm trying to say.

given the context i'd be pretty annoyed if someone asked me to elaborate a reaction image and no way would i even consider giving them a clear answer

i dont think there was any intention of ill will, necro is known for being very 'official' with how he talks and consistently replies with paragraphs. he was just wondering if xeidious had anything to add to the discussion (because there was a discussion going on) since he posted an emoji that implies 'thinking about something'.

i dunno what to tell ya man. asking for clarification and asking what you mean/are doing is asking for the exact same information. phrasing it differently doesn't make a difference. there aren't many way him dodging the question can be framed in a non-obnoxious way.

why would that even be an annoying to do? is being asked what you meant really that hard a question to answer?
