That's on the west coast of Florida. Worst case senario for them is tropical storm or cat 1
It's gonna be a cat 4 when it hit us, we are prepared and got our shutters up. Will see about livestream Sunday morning.

IIRC it's illegal for shelters/hotels in disaster areas to deny pets

Either way it's too late; I asked why her family didn't just move inland for a few days and she's like we have no gas and I'm like... well why the forget didn't you get gas earlier? I don't get people who don't prepare for this stuff it's confusing

My Florida house was in the way before, just gotta hope it doesn't swerve. I am in Michigan until the 14th thankfully
My Florida house is also 5 feet up, but the garage is at ground level so ye. Im on the west coast and it said only about 3 inches of rain

i didnt prepare at all because this storm is a hyped nothingburger for everyone not in miami or south carolina
