a good trick my dad taught me was to use bar soap with shea butter in it instead of shaving cream. Helps prevent le razor burn and u get a much smoother shave

i used to shave with mineral oil back in the day, (in shower with a little mirror) so to make spendy blades last longer lol. it works, but also gives a smooth shave :p

took an extra 2 min to rinse off though.
