Yeah but that's kinda unoptimized, it's a good temporary patch but it's not a real fix.

Thanks man. Hopefully a video will come out tonight. I just want to get the sound effects and an emitter attached to my gun before I record anything.
I'll probably do testing over the weekend. Any of ya'll free tomorrow afternoon? It won't take long, though having multiple people online at once is good, I don't feel like having to give everyone a tour separately.

I believe he's using a mixture of Bullet and just his own he's making from scratch as he goes.

Anybody that is getting a error called 0xc000007b: Replace the file OpenAL32.dll in the games folder with the one from Blockland.

So last night after the test I came up with a to-do list:

  • Add 3d sound abilities
  • Sort emitters by distance
  • Check out what's wrong with shapenames
  • Reverse text flow order
  • Muzzle emitters choose starting node
  • Less slippery movement
  • Slash command support
  • Add ability to drop tool/weapon
  • Fix lines on brick tops
  • Copy paste into chat
  • Outline on text  (It's done but it still looks like stuff)
  • Return sprites  (Need a new way to calculate height for sprites)
  • Allow a way to generate trees
  • Client side movement prediction
  • Players list

    Not only do I hope to have done those things before next weekend, but I also want to add in building. If next week is building, then the week after will hopefully be the implementation of a server-select screen, master server, and public distribution of the server.

Hey I just wanted to bump this to say I hope to have a public building test this weekend.
The next weekend, if all goes well, will have you guys hosting your own servers connected to a master server.
