My concern with training and arming citizens is that I think that would become a huge liability grey spot. If I shot 10 people by accident trying to take down the attacker, is that on me? I also feel like it would have to be near-military level training to prevent huge casualties from civilians trying to take down the attacker(s) in such a high stress situation. |

Maybe in another situation, but not this one. --- End quote --- sorry when did i say people should bring rifles to a loving concert? of course this shooting was pretty much impossible to fight back against. not every shooting happens from a forgetin hotel 32 floors up though. the ability to defend yourself and others is entirely situational and you may not always be able to, but it's nice to have something should the situation where you're able to shoot back arises. |
