--- Quote from: Darryl McKoy on October 02, 2017, 05:40:29 PM ---My concern with training and arming citizens is that I think that would become a huge liability grey spot. If I shot 10 people by accident trying to take down the attacker, is that on me? I also feel like it would have to be near-military level training to prevent huge casualties from civilians trying to take down the attacker(s) in such a high stress situation. --- End quote --- This is one of the big questions for how to take a 'pro-gun' approach to begin with. I've never really heard any solutions to this one, myself, never mind the other concerns it brings up such as the potential for police forces to misidentify the shooter and nail some random gun-owning civilian in a scenario. |
