| Tactical Nuke:
you said "any weapon that isn't automatic or semi-automatic", not "any rifle that isn't automatic or semi-automatic" disregarding that automatic weapons are already mostly illegal, do you know how long it takes to rooster a bolt-action? your dad is lucky he doesn't miss |
| Khaz:
i guess you could say hes pretty skilled. hunting culture up in that part of utah is rich asf |
| Tactical Nuke:
there you go your dad is not the majority I'm sure he could tell you this, but if you miss with a bolt-action whatever you're hunting is gone by the time you line up the next shot not the case with semi-auto, which is also why they're so good for self-defense too |
| Drydess:
correct me if im wrong but a semi automatic is a gun that you don't have to reload between shots while an automatic is a gun you don't have to let go of the trigger thus a revolver, many rifles, or many shotguns and stuff like that are neither semi nor full auto anyways the answer to the question of why semis are allowed is just that they're convenient. whether for sport, hobby, or crime that's just it. i shoot a range as often as the bullet cost allows me and i gotta say bullpups and stuff are pretty damn fun to screw with of course that's also the reason you don't see people with muskets in their basements but you know |
