Realistically speaking, if you've always used bidets, your starfish is probably pretty clean all the time, meaning that the towel probably isn't that dirty. I doubt a bidet will just shoot a tiny ass stream of water at your starfish, I'm sure it's got some force in there.

I doubt that a little bit of water in your starfish is going to ruin your water bill.
