It's not about the blanket you nugget. It's about the fact the other person is offering to get close to you. I really doubt they were saying it in the kind of "you take this corner I'll take that corner" tone.

You probably do have some kind of mental disability that prevents you from picking up on basic social cues, not just flirting.

i guess because in hindsight, i still consider it platonic. it was an insignificant moment to me and was brought up when the said person admitted feelings. i think that's how it should be, where someone tells you that they like you and no ambiguous acts of generosity.
