a few really cheap hobbies:
woodburning: can get a set for like $15, on of my friends used to do it. she sucked at drawing, but she would trace stuff and it looked real dope
stitching/sewing: obv really cheap
origami: weeby but all you need is youtube and paper
lockpicking
open mics: idk if they have them anywhere near you, but generally free or just need to buy a drink to participate. did one over the summer at a restaurant and just did on the spot comedy. maybe everyone was just really drunk, but people laughed and i had a fun ass time
reading
cactus/bonsai plants
dungeons and dragons: never done it myself but ive seen a few sites that arrange meetups. also online stuff
disc golf: dunno if they have this down in kangaroo land, but one of my white friends showed it to me and stuff was honestly p dope. you can buy discs for like 5 dollars, and its hella fun. weed isnt necessary but preferred
writing
geocaching
magic
dancing: classes are generally cheap or local community centers/gyms will sometimes put on free lessons
ukulele: you can buy them for hella cheap online and girls dig jason mraz
fishing: ive only been once and its boring af but relaxing

That's a decent idea actually.

Didn't appeal to me when my Grandma tried to teach me.

Actually going for theatre since that's what I have more fun with. It's just trouble getting an audition with a lacking resume.

As I've grown older, it's become harder to enjoy books. I dunno if it's early onset dementia (my grandad fell victim to that, could be genetic) or just laziness.

Lack of space in my room as of now.

My IRL friends and I organise these, just been tough with everyone so busy. Not really feeling it with other people as of yet.

This is more of a job than anything to me because I do it regularly.

Did this with my Uncle a long time ago, but we tagged all the ones nearby here.

That'd actually be fun.

I feel like I'd need a partner to be motivated for that.

I'd rather learn to play the massive piano in my house, it's just a problem of timing because my room-mates hate hearing noise.

Not a fan of water tbh.

Serious talk for a second; I have a major problem with apathy and not committing to the things I want to do, so I'm personally seeking help for that. Still appreciate suggestions for other things to do or places to turn to though. It's been enlightening realising there's a much bigger world out there than my current scope of hobbies.
