Currently am making shirts for a website, but after the marching season I plan to work at Waffle House with my friend on drumline.

Depends on the usage. For church / public performances( obviously ), use acoustic. For home practice, unless you have sound proofed rooms and / or family members that don't care, i'd go for electronic. I personally don't use either, and practice kit when I can at my school.
