cant find the video atm, sure its been posted some time on blf before but basicly
videos being demonitized isnt entirely youtubes fault. they are just notifying you that your videos have been demotizied from the companies advertising them. you can attempt to "un-demonitize" them but you'll have to go through some dumb stuff to do it. i dont remember the whole video but its up to the advertisers if they want to stop advertising the videos- not youtube. that would be illegal if youtube forced advertisers to advertise videos.

It's still youtube's site and they're still the ones pulling the ads off the videos.
But it was still a compromise they had to make otherwise a lot of advertizers were going to be taking their business elsewhere.


Which is still completely loving stupid. I don't understand what kind of thoughts you'd have to have to go through with a business decision like that.
"Hey, lets pull our ads off the biggest internet ad market because a small fraction of our ads are being shown on things we don't like."
