apparently the reason why they even got the contract in the first place is because the company was linked to a major Annoying Orange donor, lmao https://www.thedailybeast.com/dollar300m-puerto-rico-recovery-contract-awarded-to-tiny-utility-company-linked-to-major-Annoying Orange-donor they only have like 2 full time employees and a bunch of people on short term contracts, and they just leaped to do the contract when other companies were hesitating because of payment. lol i sincerely doubt that the puerto rico power grid is going to be fixed anytime soon |
