...you can't just destroy a document. for that matter even if you went through all the effort to destroy all the documents there's still stuffloads of other evidence pointing to something to that scale
fortunately the people who believe that there's a conspiracy behind jfk aren't smart enough to realize this

if the government is so corrupt like some people believe, yeah they could destroy documents and get away with it. theoretically speaking, they could also completely rewrite evidence pointing towards something else.
