I feel like everyone making fun of /r/incels was just virtue signalling. Like, once word about them got out, every few reddit threads would have a highly upvoted comment chain complaining about them.
I never browsed the sub, but it was probably like a thousand active users at once complaining about women. It really doesn't deserve *this* much attention.
