i found research and a bunch of other stuff when i was young specifically because i was left unmonitored online.
parents need to be parents in this day and age; you can't let the internet raise your kid just because it keeps them quiet.

At like 6 or 7 years old I was never monitored but I never looked up adult stuff either. I pretty much went on to play flash games or find Pokemon stuff. Then I found Club Penguin and I played that everyday and I was in.

yea that was kinda what it was like for me except i started using the internet when i was around 3
apparently its the reason i was able to read at a young age
