It's as if people don't like being loveually harassed and abused, and are now standing up for themselves and fellow victims.
If people reported these incidents soon after, they would not have been taken seriously given the public's and companies' attitudes towards dealing with these issues. Now since the general public is more open to discussing this, it's really the best time for victims to come out.
