Game does not validate my key and I can't join any servers.

I have a message at the bottom of my screen saying "Authentication: Validating key..." which goes on forever, even if I reinstall the game.

So now whenever I try to join a server I get an error message saying the server could not verify my Blockland ID.
I'm a steam user btw.


How to fix?

I also tried going to http://auth.blockland.us/ and  http://master2.blockland.us/ and both pages loaded fine.
And if it matters, i'm running BitDefender

Update: it finally validated, but will probably forget up again if i try to change my name.

Ok actually needs to validate very time i need to open the game.. so i do need help i guess

Restart Steam, should fix it

make sure you don't have an antivirus or firewall blocking the connection. If you are using zoneAlarm make sure to allow the connection(s) as well
