fixing quiet bandicam/fraps/any game recordings due to equalizer?

so my USB headset has this stupid 'feature' where anything with the stock equalizer (aka off or nothing changed) makes it horribly loud at even the lowest volume

seriously. this is loving ridiculous. and not only is the volume issue annoying, any recording i make with any program that uses the headset audio, is nerfed insanely down because of it. is there a better equalizer that doesn't do this? i don't want to have to keep changing the volume on my game recordings every time because of this bullstuff

i havent ever used a USB headset; do they require these drivers specifically? you could just.. not use them if they're not absolutely needed for your headset

they are. only way to hear audio out of it is with those drivers
