Your actually required by ohio state law to report a deer accident, but a lot of people do not want their insurance rates to go up, so they usually leave the scene a guy once hit a deer near our house and instead he drove it up in the back of his pickup and let us keep it - freshly dead! We hung it from a tree limb by its neck, gutted it and processed all the good meat. Had amazing chili soup all winter :) |
