misguided as hell
foxscotch..... he's not going to live much longer......

stuff that do not require the human creative mind, or at the very least human judgement, i have no problem with being replaced

but that mostly applies to menial labor where consistency is key

I watched that video long ago, and I'm with Ipquarx. He mentions two very specific cases that aren't even relevant to what I'm good at, and the technology required is well out of our reach given the complexity of the problems at hand.

By the time that tech will be in a usable state, we will have likely begun developing systems to change how we think and handle employment and currency, as there will already be millions displaced by the lack of work in jobs that can be easily automated, from physical labour to mathematical deductions.

misguided as hell

robots cant count corn

Exactly they do know how to count North east south American straight bananas

But that's a long way from taking inventory on your whiskey seeds

I thought you were into aerospace

we're literally innovating ourselves out of jobs.

why hire people for $13/hr for cutting down trees when a machine can do it?
why hire unreliable factory line workers when machines can do it correctly 100% of the time?

I thought you were into aerospace

Aerospace>air>clouds>Skynet

We're doomed and Maxwell did it

I thought you were into aerospace
no, I actually switched degrees (before I started college obv) a while back so now I'm doing electrical

I've accidentally automated someone out of a job before, and have purposefully automated the equivalent of two full time staff on a different piece of work

#vote1robots

nah if jobs where i'm paid to find bugs in games are not automated i'd do that
or jobs where i can taste-test food

i'm a really lazy forgeter

maybe a job where i can build robots
