I should clarify that I don't have a problem with special interestist in general. I have a problem with people who take it out of the bedroom. I don't care if people talk about it publicly. Rather I think it's distasteful to, say, parade around in BDSM gear or something like that. Also, I just dislike hookup culture in general, as I see it as a distraction from forming stable, monogamous relationships (although I understand some people need to experiment before settling down).
