This isn't a place for politics. This is an opportunity for some genuine reflection as to what's wrong here. It isn't my sense of humor to joke about school shootings or murder or racism or whatever, but I recognize that some people do that without having any negative intents. However, we have to be careful. This is a place on the internet with a lot of young people and a lot of people who have trouble with irony. The fact that a person could be sending messages like that constantly and it would fly under the radar is frankly very disturbing. It's not fair to pin this on anyone but him, but watch your words. I agree with Ultimax and don't think that that's a political viewpoint. I think that's a sound brown townysis of the dangers of the online interactions in and around this forum. This all said, even though I never interacted with this guy, this is really freaky, and I hate being even this close to something that grotesque. I'd really appreciate if you guys could chill for once and discuss this with some grace. If this ends up being the end of this forum, I guess I'm happy that I got to be here for a while. I'd love to believe that we're not a bad bunch. Take care, all. |
