yea Eruption is nice and all but it's really flashy, there's not much too it other than Eddie Van Halen playing fast as forget. I respect his technical ability but Eruption is excessive imo

Eruption was pretty big at its time and it sounds like wank to us now but it was one hell of a demonstration of chops.

i believe this is the 15th time i've read this post and i finally just understood that VH stands for Van Halen and now i am much less confused
