no offense lol but this sounds like something someone with stuff grades would say. the whole point of getting grades is to get farther in school and holding that back because you forgeted up doesn't sound too mean to me

sure but i don't think it's a good idea to tell high schools to do drugs as long as you're not driving or at school. doesn't really sound like a recipe for success

i finished in the top 5% at my school but okay
(to be clear, i'm just saying this to defend myself, not to brag about it)
I think there's an undue level of focus on grades in school, even though I happen to benefit from it

i wasn't saying we should encourage that behavior, just that it's weird to punish it so heavily
it would be like giving students detentions because they played more than 2 hours of video games last night
