Youtube The children are the future, and the future is telling us that Traditional Cable TV will be a thing of the past. --- End quote --- friendly reminder, the same crappy format and delivery that is causing cable tv's demise is what is going to happen to the internet without net neutrality. with all the kids moving from tv to the internet, the cable companies are going to try and follow suit to keep up with the demographics, and resultingly ruin the internet like they ruined tv. we've already seen precursors to that over the past decade with the rise of ads everywhere just to cover website hosting expenses (including youtube beginning to run ads), and the increase in cable-tv-like programs on video streaming sites (like youtube red). |
